Q.) What is Electuary Tea Powder?
A.) Electuary tea powder is the same wonderful mixture of plants that you would find in herbal loose leaf or bagged teas at your local grocer, but an electuary is a little different in style and preparation. The herbal plant material is finely powdered for fast release and easy consumption. When steeping herbal tea in hot water, it can take some time to fully release the wonderful constituents that we are consuming the tea for, so much so that the tea can be cold by the time the plant material is fully released. That isn't terrible if you are making an iced tea. I personally want a hot cuppa and I want ALL the wonderful benefits of the tea I am drinking instantly. With an electuary, you are steeping the herbal tea material in honey to fully release and preserve the constituents you are looking for. Your tea powder will be fully released and instantly ready for consumption weather that is now or two weeks from now.
Q.) Why do i have to mix in my own honey?
A.) Honey has lots of benefits for your overall health. The absolute best option is to use Raw Local Honey. It can usually be found at a local grocer or even a farmers' market. You can also contact your local beekeeper's guild to fine local apiaries. A local raw honey can and should be purchased in the area you reside in. Rule of thumb is a 25-mile radius of your dwelling. Honey sourced local means the bees are gathering their pollen form the same plants in your area so if you are a seasonal allergy sufferer, honey from your area will help reduce your symptoms. Honey is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, so not only will it sooth a sore throat, but it will also fight what is causing the issue. Honey relieves digestive issues as it is coating and calming for the stomach. Honey contains antioxidants such as flavonoids and polyphenols which are also anti-inflammatory. Raw honey contains bee pollen and propolis which support respiratory, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular and nervous systems. Honey contains micronutrients. Check out our instructional video HERE on how to make your tea powder into honey electuary. Once prepared, just add a 1/2 to 1 tsp to a cuppa hot water, add to another cuppa tea or just eat it and let it melt over your tongue.
Q.) What is Miron Glass?
A.) MIRON’s violet glass acts as a natural barrier for physical and energetic material stored within the product itself, keeping it all inside. This prolongs the natural quality of the product. In scientific tests, when compared to other glass, plastic or aluminum packaging, MIRON’s violet glass has up to four times better storage quality. Four times! And without using preservatives. The longer shelf life and the possibility to reuse and recycle, makes MIRON glass the sustainable choice. The composition of this glass includes special minerals that naturally boost the nutrients and vitality of your product’s ingredients. In practice, this means that they don’t lose their potency, aromas, color and texture. Clear, amber and green glass allow all the rays through, including the rays that will damage your product. While at the other end of the spectrum, black, or very dark glass, allows none of the rays to pass through, including those that are actually good for your product. You’ve probably never heard of biophotons. They are invisible light particles generated by almost all living cells. Which means that you are in fact absorbing and emitting millions of biophotons at this very moment. There is growing evidence proving that absorbing biophotons increases vitality, prevents disease and even slows down the ageing process. In other words, the more biophotons you absorb, the better it is for your health and well-being. The appreciation of the special protective powers of violet glass can be traced back to Ancient Egypt. Valuable essences (oils) and natural healing products were kept in violet glass vessels. It’s even reputed that the legendary Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra, rubbed aloe vera on her skin every day, kept in violet glass jars. To learn more about MIRON GLASS check out their website HERE.
